Privacy Policy

This text explains how the personal data of nishexpo.com.tr visitors is processed under the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 ("KVKK"). Last updated: 30 October 2026.

Site visit statistics

To understand how our site is used and to follow the interest shown in fairs, we process the following data:

  • The path and title of the page visited, the time of the visit and the time spent on the page
  • Device type, operating system, browser, site language and screen width
  • The source that referred you (e.g. Google, direct visit)
  • A coarse location (country and, where available, city) and the name of the internet provider, derived on the fly from your IP address. The IP address is not stored or logged.
  • Only if you accepted cookies: a randomly generated anonymous visitor number (nz_vid) to count repeat visits.

No name, e-mail, telephone number or IP address is stored in these statistics. If you have not accepted cookies, repeat visits on the same day are counted approximately with a one-way digest produced with a secret key that is renewed every day and whose previous version is deleted; this digest cannot be matched across days. If Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control is enabled in your browser, no visit data is sent at all.

CRM staff's own visits are separated from the statistics: the device of a staff member logged in to the CRM system is recognised when a visit comes from the same network and the same device/browser type. No IP address is stored for this; a one-way digest that is deleted automatically after 12 hours is used.

Purpose and legal basis

Purpose: producing site statistics, improving the site and our services, and following the interest shown in fairs. Legal basis: KVKK Art. 5/2-f (legitimate interest) for the preference cookie and the cookieless anonymous statistics; KVKK Art. 5/1 (explicit consent — your consent in the cookie notice) for the statistics cookie (nz_vid). You can withdraw your consent at any time with the "Cookie Preferences" link.

Retention periods

  • The nz_vid cookie stays in your browser for 12 months; the visit counter linked to this number is kept for 12 months from your last visit.
  • Session and page view records are deleted automatically after 90 days.
  • Daily aggregate statistics that cannot be linked to a person (e.g. the daily number of visitors) may be kept indefinitely.
  • The preference cookie (nz_onay) is kept for 6 months.

Contact and participation forms

The information you share in the forms (name, company, e-mail, telephone, message, the fair you are interested in) is processed to answer your request and to make an offer, and is transferred to our customer management system.

Hosting and transfers

The site and the customer management system are hosted on servers in Türkiye; location is derived with a local database on our server. Data is not shared with third parties for marketing purposes. Instant notifications are delivered to our authorised employee through the Telegram messaging service; visit notifications contain no name, e-mail, IP address or visitor number, while form notifications contain the information you shared in the form. Telegram's servers may be located outside Türkiye.

Your rights (KVKK Art. 11)

Under Article 11 of the KVKK, you have the right to learn whether your personal data is processed, to request information if it has been processed, to learn the purpose of processing and whether the data is used in line with that purpose, to know the third parties in Türkiye or abroad to whom it is transferred, to request correction if it is incomplete or inaccurate, to request erasure or destruction under the conditions of KVKK Art. 7, to request that these actions be notified to the third parties to whom the data was transferred, to object to a result against you arising exclusively from analysis by automated systems, and to claim compensation if you suffer damage due to unlawful processing.

You can send your requests to info@nishexpo.com.tr or to the postal address above; requests are answered free of charge within 30 days at the latest. Because the anonymous visitor number is not matched with your identity, the easiest way to remove this data is to delete the cookies in your browser or to reject them under "Cookie Preferences".
